JLPT N5 Grammar: に～回 (ni ~ kai)

Meaning: Do ~ times in the interval

How to use: [Duration] に [Number of Times] 回

Explain:
Describes the frequency of doing something over a period of time.
Used to express the number or frequency of repetition of an action or event in a certain period of time.

For example:
1. 私は 一月に２回映画を見ます。
Watashi wa ichigatsu ni 2-kai eiga o mimasu.
I watch movies twice a month

2. 一週間に３回日本語を勉 強しています。
Isshuukan ni 3-kai nihongo o Tsutomu tsuyoshite imasu.
I study Japanese 3 times a week.

3. 私は 一週間に４回日本語を勉強します。
Watashi wa isshuukan ni 4-kai nihongo o benkyou shimasu.
I study Japanese 4 days a week

4. 私は 少なくとも一週間に一回図書館に い行きます。
Watashi wa sukunakutomo isshuukan ni ikkai toshokan ni i yukimasu.
I go to the library at least once a week.

5. 彼氏とは 1 ヶ 月に1 回しか 会えない。
Kareshi to wa 1 ~ke tsuki ni 1-kai shika aenai.
I only see my boyfriend once a month.
