Meaning: without doing…; don’t

How to use:
Verb-ないform + で

For example:
1. 朝ごはんを食べないで学校へ行きます。
asa gohan o tabenaide gakkō e ikimasu.
I go to school without eating breakfast.

2. お金を持たないので出かけます
okane o motanainode dekakemasu
Go out without carrying money

3. 彼女は一生結婚しないで独身をとおした。
kanojo wa isshō kekkon shinaide dokushin o tōshita.
She lived her whole life single and unmarried

4. 歯を磨かないで寝てはいけません。
ha o migakanaide nete wa ikemasen.
Don’t go to bed without brushing your teeth.

5. 予約しないで行ったら、満席で入れなかった。
yoyaku shinaide ittara, manseki de hairenakatta.
I went without a reservation so I couldn’t get in

6. お願い、もうなにもいわないで。
onegai, mou nanimo iwanaide.
Don’t say anything, please.
