Verb-dictionary form + だに
Noun + だに

Explain:
A often goes with the verb 考 え る 、 想像 、 思 い 出 す。
The B often means suffering and fear

Example sentences:

1. この間の彼女の態度は思い出すだに腹が立つ
kono aida no kanojo no taido wa omoidasu dani hara ga tatsu.
Even just thinking about her attitude the other day still upsets me.

2. 思い出すだに怒りで熱くなる。
omoidasu dani ikari de atsuku naru.
The memory of it makes me feel hot with anger.

3. このような事故が起きるとは想像だにしなかった。
Kono yōna jiko ga okiru to wa sōzō dani shinakatta.
I never imagined that such an accident would happen.

4 いま往時を回想するだに暗然たるものあり。
ima ouji o kaisou suru dani anzen taru mono ari.
I feel sick just thinking about those days.
