JLPT N5 Grammar: から (kara)

Meaning: since; because

How to use:
Verb + から
いadjective + から
なadjective + だから
Noun +　だから

Explain:
Used to present the cause, reason and emphasize your opinion about a certain thing
Used to join two sentences into one sentence.
Sentence 1 shows the reason for sentence 2
You can also connect 2 sentences first, then connect sentence 1 with 「から」

For example:
1. 朝忙しいですから、朝ごはんを食べません。
Asa isogashiidesukara, asa gohan o tabemasen.
Because I’m so busy in the morning, I don’t eat breakfast

2. 狭いから、ここで車を止めないでください。
Semaikara, koko de kuruma o tomenaide kudasai.
Because it’s crowded, please don’t park here.

3. 雨が降りましたから、道は滑りますよ。
Ame ga orimashitakara, dou wa suberimasu yo.
Since it’s raining, the road will be slippery.

4. 毎朝、ﾆｭｰｽを見ませんか?
Maiasa, nyuusu o mimasen ka?
Do you watch the news in the morning?

いいえ、時間がありませんから。
iie, jikan ga arimasenkara.
No, I don’t have time

5. 彼らは登山に退屈したから疲労したのだ。
karera wa tozan ni taikutsu shita kara hirou shita no da.
They were exhausted because they were bored by mountain climbing.
