JLPT N2 Grammar: ことから (koto kara)

How to use:
Verb-casual + ことから
Noun + だったことから
いadj + ことから

For example:
1. 田舎には大学がありませんことから都市へ学習しました。
inaka ni wa daigaku ga arimasen koto kara toshi e gakushū shimashita.
Since there was no university in my hometown, I had to go to the city to study

2. この地方には花がたくさんあることから週末多い人を花見ます。
kono chihō ni wa hana ga takusan aru koto kara shūmatsu ōi hito o hanamimasu.
There are many flowers in this region, so many people come to see the flowers on weekends.

3. 町並みが昔のままに保存され、古い家も多いことから、その町は　”古い町”と呼ばれている。
machinami ga mukashi no mama ni hozon sa re, furui ie mo ōi koto kara, sono machi wa” furui machi” to yoba rete iru.
The town is called “old town” because the townscape has been preserved as it was in the past and there are many old houses.

4. 富士山が見えることから、この町は富士見町という名前がついた。
fujisan ga mieru koto kara, kono machi wa fujimichou to iu namae ga tsuita.
This town was named Fujumicho because you can see Mt. Fuji.
