Explain:
Use in case the state indicates that this state is greater / higher than / greater than that of another state.

Example sentences:

1. 今回のイベントは、前回にもまして好評だった。
konkai no ibento wa, zenkai ni momashite kouhyou datta.
This event received better reviews than the last one.

2. 日本の夏は暑い。しかし、暑さにもまして耐えがたいのは、湿度の高さだ。
nihon no natsuhaatsui. Shikashi, atsusa nimomashite taegatai no wa, shitsudo no taka-sada.
Summer in Japan is hot. But what’s even more uncomfortable than the heat is the high humidity.
