Meaning: to; for; concerning; as far as … is concerned; regarding ~

How to use: Noun + にとって

For example:
1. 彼にとってこんな修理は何でもないことです。
kare ni totte kon’na shūri wa nani demonai kotodesu.
It’s easy for him to make repairs like this

2. 私にとって一番が家族です。
watashi ni totte ichiban ga kazokudesu.
Family is the most important thing to me.

3. それは彼にとって重大です。
sore wa kare ni totte jūdaidesu.
It’s important to him.

4. アイデアの多様性は、いい議論にとって重要だ。
aidea no tayousei wa, ii giron ni totte juuyou da.
A diversity of ideas is important to a good discussion.

5. それは、わたしにとって子供の頃から人生の一部だったものです。
sore wa, watashi ni totte kodomo no koro kara jinsei no ichibu datta mono desu.
