How to use: Noun + と + Noun

Explain:
We use the particle 「と」 to indicate that a certain object (person or animal) performs the same action.

For example:

1. 私の人生と、私の名誉を救ってくれ。
watashi no jinsei to, watashi no meiyo o sukutte kure.
Spare my life, my honor!

2. 彼女は転んで膝と手首にけがをした。
kanojo wa koronde hiza to tekubi ni kega o shita.
She had fallen down and cut her knees and hurt her wrist.

3. 友だちと別れるのが悲しいこと。
tomodachi to wakareru no ga kanashii koto.
Parting with friends is a sadness.

4. 漫画と小説を読みます。
manga to shousetsu o yomimasu.
I read comic books and novels.
