Meaning: That’s exactly what it is; but the level is not much

How to use:
N + といっても

V／Aい／Aな + といっても

Example sentences:

「キムさん、大学でロシア語を勉強したそうですね。」
「ええ、でも、勉強したといっても、初級レベルだけなんですよ」
“Kim, I heard you studied Russian at university, right?”

“Yes, but, even though I’m educated, I’m still at the beginner level.”

「今度のアパートは駅から遠いのよ」
「でも、遠いといっても歩いて15分なんでしょ」
“This apartment is too far from the station.”

“Although it is far, it only takes 15 minutes to walk.”

「駅の周辺は、昼間はにぎやかだといっても、夜は人通りが少ないんです」
