Meaning: in order to (e.g. meet goal); so that

How to use:
Verb-dictionary form + ように
Verb-ないform + ように

For example:
1. すべたがうまくいきますよう。
subeta ga umaku ikimasu yō.
Wishing all the best

2. 新しい年が幸い多き年してありますよう祈ております
atarashī toshi ga saiwai ōki toshi shite arimasu yō Inorite orimasu
I wish you a happy and prosperous new year

3. 忘れ物をしないようにしてください。
wasuremono o shinai yō ni shite kudasai.
Please don’t forget your stuff

4. 授業中はおしゃべりしないように。
Jugyō-chū wa oshaberi shinai yō ni.
During class please don’t talk

5. 子供にも読めるよう名前にふりがなをつけた
kodomo ni mo yomeru yō namae ni furigana o tsuketa

6. 幸運を祈ります。無事にやりとげられるように。
kouun o inorimasu. buji ni yaritogerareru you ni.
